Though I don’t have a Kindle Fire, my daughter does. Also a close friend who visits me frequently has a Kindle Fire, so I’ll review this from the point of view of having watched them.
Amazon Fire Tablet for an Elderly Relative
My friend comes to my home and asks me to turn on the WiFi so he can connect and show me his grandchildren’s newest pictures, from Facebook. He is absolutely delighted with this. You can see how much he appreciates this electronic ebook, which, by the way, was a gift from one of his adult sons. He also has a Bible installed on the Kindle Fire that he enjoys searching through to answer any question. I very much recommend getting a Kindle Fire for an elderly relative. This is one of his prized possessions.
Gift of an Amazon Fire Tablet for a Young Mother
My niece’s favorite use for the Kindle Fire tablet her husband gave her is to let their two-year-old daughter enjoy using it. On the Kindle Fire, children’s e-books have colorful illustrations that are bright and beautiful. She has also taken some good photographs with the built-in cameras (front and back.) It is like most other tablets, but has a better interface for Kindle e-books.

Best Kindle Fire for 2017 – Good for Reading Magazines
On my Kindle I like reading magazines, and I wish I had a Kindle Fire instead of Kindle Paperwhite for magazine reading, because I’d like to see the colorful images. I can place a Kindle app on my tablet to read books, including art books with colorful images, but I can’t read the magazines with the app. For that, I’d like to have a Kindle Fire tablet like the one pictured here.
Like I said, I don’t own the best Kindle Fire for 2017. I own the humble Kindle Paperwhite, which I bought because my main interest was in reading books. I still like my Paperwhite, and take it with me wherever I go if I suspect I’ll have to wait somewhere, such as in a doctor’s office or at a bus stop. My motto is never to be caught without a book to read. The storage capacity of my Kindle ensures I will be able to find something good to read.
